Weβre looking for a Manager, Asset Management to join us in our team. As a member of our agile working team, you will be responsible for supporting our clients' business by:

Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.

Acting as a senior point of contact within the Factor team.

Tackling complex contracting work for our clients.

Responsibilities
-
Delivering legal services and compliance with all delivery commitments to the client.

Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of IT-focused commercial contracts across a global remit, including:
-
Master Services Agreements
-
Amendment Agreements
-
Local Country Agreements
-
SAAS Agreements
-
Supply Agreements
-
Reseller Agreements
-
Contract Interpretation and advisory support
-
Dispute handling
-
Professional and consulting services contracts
-
Licensing contracts
-
Other IP/IT contracts
-
General commercial contracts
-
Adhering to and developing delivery processes and commitments.
-
Inputting and managing data on Factor and client systems and keeping them up to date.
-
Helping develop contract templates, playbooks, and other tools for use by the team.
-
Mentoring and training junior team members, quality checking work output, and acting as a point of contact for legal queries.

Remaining up to date on legal and other relevant developments within the industry.
Qualifications
-
Law Degree
-
Qualified lawyer in the United States
-
Legally eligible to work in the country this role is based
-
5 yearsβ experience of independently drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
-
Experience working in the asset management/private equity space, with experience of working on real estate transactions
-
Excellent attention to detail
-
Ability to handle a consistent and varied workload to meet client deadlines
-
Frequent client-facing experience in a legal context
-
Experience of managing and developing teams and supervising their work output
-
Experience of coaching and mentoring more junior team members
-
Strong commercial awareness, working directly with business managers and other functions across an organization
-
Extensive legal knowledge to act as a senior advisor to the client
-
Experience in the development and management of standard operating procedures, playbooks, templates, and tools for use by a team
-
Expert written and verbal communication and presentation skills
-
Very strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Word

As a member of an ISO Compliant center, the candidate will be required to follow the policies and procedures on Information Security Management System in place at the Center of Excellence and globally at Factor.

Access to various company and client assets will require maintaining the level of security as identified for each asset.
