Role Description
In this role you will take full ownership of a portfolio of NSW residential conveyancing transactions from end to end, supported by lawlab’s systems and support teams, workflows and an experienced team around you. You will be trusted to work autonomously, deliver exceptional outcomes for clients, and be a reliable, collaborative presence in the team.

Managing the full conveyancing lifecycle: from matter opening and client onboarding through to settlement and file closure

Conducting client and property due diligence, including title searches, caveats and encumbrances

Drafting and preparing contracts of sale and vendor disclosure (Section 32) statements

Reviewing contracts of sale and providing clear, commercial advice to clients on key risks and obligations

Handling all post-exchange requirements including land titles dealings, stamp duty, concessions and compliance

Using our technology stack – Rundl, PEXA, DocuSign, VOI and electronic search platforms – to deliver a seamless client experience

Coordinating and completing settlements: calculating adjustments, preparing settlement statements, liaising with banks and counterparties

Maintaining excellent file management discipline: communication, prioritisation and accurate records throughout
Qualifications

Previous experience in NSW residential conveyancing

A current NSW Conveyancer’s License

Strong attention to detail and genuine commitment to quality outcomes

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence advising clients directly
