Role Description
We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for U.S.-based legal professionals experienced in legal analysis, case review, legal writing, issue spotting, structured legal reasoning, and benchmark-style evaluation work. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on structured legal reasoning review, case analysis, legal document assessment, issue-spotting workflows, legal writing evaluation, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their legal expertise to review realistic legal scenarios, evaluate analytical outputs, prepare structured written feedback, and support accurate, evidence-based legal workflow tasks.
Key Responsibilities

Legal Analysis & Issue Spotting

Review legal scenarios involving factual records, legal questions, procedural issues, case materials, and structured legal prompts.

Evaluate legal reasoning against source materials, applicable legal standards, argument structure, and documented review criteria.

Support structured review of case summaries, legal memos, issue lists, draft analyses, and legal research-style outputs.

Identify missing issues, weak reasoning, unsupported conclusions, and expected legal review outcomes.

Legal Writing & Document Review

Review legal outputs for clarity, accuracy, completeness, organization, and professional legal writing quality.

Evaluate written materials involving contracts, litigation documents, regulatory summaries, compliance notes, policy materials, or advisory-style legal content.

Support structured review of legal explanations, argument summaries, clause analysis, procedural reasoning, and client-facing legal communications.

Prepare clear written feedback based on source materials and verifiable criteria.

Benchmark, Evaluation & Structured Feedback

Review and validate legal benchmark tasks for realism, accuracy, legal coherence, and analytical quality.

Annotate or assess outputs across legal use cases such as contract review, litigation analysis, regulatory interpretation, compliance review, legal research, and transactional workflows.

Provide structured feedback on reasoning quality, issue coverage, legal accuracy, and communication clarity.

Maintain accuracy, consistency, and professional judgment across submitted work.
Qualifications

U.S.-based lawyer with experience in legal practice, legal research, litigation, transactional work, regulatory analysis, compliance, contract review, or advisory legal work.

Strong ability to analyze legal materials, identify issues, evaluate reasoning, and provide precise written feedback.

Background in one or more areas such as commercial law, litigation, contracts, regulatory law, employment law, privacy, corporate law, compliance, or general legal analysis.

Comfort reading and preparing legal artifacts such as memos, briefs, contracts, policies, issue lists, research summaries, and case analyses.

Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.

Ability to translate legal workflows into clear, structured task documentation.
Requirements

Juris Doctor degree is strongly preferred.

Active U.S. bar admission or equivalent legal qualification is highly relevant.

Equivalent practical experience in legal analysis, legal writing, legal research, compliance review, contract review, or legal operations may also be relevant depending on project scope.
