Role Description

We are sharing a specialised consulting opportunity for experienced Legal, Policy & Public Experts with strong expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, presentation reconstruction, legal and policy analysis, data visualisation, visual storytelling, and executive-level communication to contribute to an advanced AI training and presentation-evaluation project. Selected professionals will reconstruct and enhance legal, compliance, policy, and public-sector presentations while preserving precise definitions, caveats, factual integrity, and intended meaning. No prior experience in AI is required.

Key Responsibilities

• PowerPoint Slide Reconstruction
  • Reconstruct legal, compliance, and policy-related slides from reference images using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Accurately reproduce text, charts, layouts, exhibits, and supporting visual elements.
  • Maintain professional formatting, alignment, hierarchy, and visual consistency.
  • Preserve relevant terminology, definitions, qualifications, and contextual details.
  • Ensure reconstructed slides remain faithful to the original source material.
• Legal, Policy & Public-Sector Content
  • Review executive briefings, policy analyses, committee updates, and public consultation materials.
  • Edit content for clarity while maintaining legal and policy accuracy.
  • Preserve regulatory definitions, governance concepts, caveats, and intended meaning.
  • Apply domain expertise to compliance, public-law, and policy-focused materials.
  • Identify content issues that could affect factual integrity or interpretation.
• Presentation Design & Data Visualisation
  • Improve slide clarity, visual hierarchy, narrative flow, and overall presentation quality.
  • Strengthen data visualisation and visual storytelling for senior or client-facing audiences.
  • Apply evidence-supported titling and effective message hierarchy.
  • Refine layouts, exhibits, typography, and information structure where appropriate.
  • Ensure visual improvements support rather than distort the underlying analysis.
• Design Review & Decision Rationale
  • Evaluate which presentation elements should be improved, retained, or refined.
  • Produce detailed written rationales explaining significant modifications.
  • Document intentional decisions to preserve sound original choices.
  • Explain content hierarchy, exhibit selection, and editorial decisions using legal or policy logic.
  • Apply critical judgement when assessing alternative presentation approaches.
• Quality, Delivery & AI Evaluation
  • Review completed slides for accuracy, consistency, and professional presentation quality.
  • Apply strong attention to detail across content, design, and written communication.
  • Complete individual production assignments within approximately 1–2 hours.
  • Participate in flexible, sprint-based project cycles as required.
  • Contribute legal, policy, and presentation expertise to AI training and evaluation workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in legal practice, regulatory affairs, public policy, public-sector work, or a related field.
• Substantive exposure to compliance, governance, or public-law issues.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Proven experience creating or enhancing executive-level or client-facing presentations.
• Strong slide-reconstruction, presentation-design, and data-visualisation skills.
• Experience with narrative-driven business communication and visual storytelling.
• Exceptional attention to detail and critical-thinking ability.
• Precise written communication and content-editing skills.
• Ability to explain message hierarchy, evidence-supported titles, and exhibit choices clearly.
• Strong understanding of legal, regulatory, or policy terminology and contextual accuracy.
• Industry practitioners and consultants with deep domain expertise are encouraged to apply; consulting-firm experience is not required.
• Experience with AI training, evaluation, or rubric development is advantageous but not required.

Engagement Details

• Independent contractor engagement.
• Fully remote.
• Compensation: $150–$350/hour.
• Individual production assignments are expected to take approximately 1–2 hours.
• Work will involve PowerPoint slide reconstruction, legal and policy content review, presentation design, data visualisation, visual storytelling, and written decision rationale.
• Assignments may include executive briefings, policy-options analyses, committee updates, public consultation materials, compliance presentations, and related content.
• Work may be organised through flexible, sprint-based project cycles.
• Strong domain judgement, factual accuracy, and presentation quality are central to this engagement.
• Project scope, workload, presentation topics, and evaluation standards may evolve depending on project requirements.
