Role Description
This is a remote position. Our client is looking for a Legal Intake Assistant to support a new 24/7 intake program serving law firms across the United States and Canada. In this role, you will connect with prospective clients who have requested assistance from partner law firms and prefer communicating in Spanish. You will be responsible for:

Contacting leads and understanding their needs.

Determining whether they meet basic qualification criteria.

Scheduling qualified prospects for consultations with the appropriate legal team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is confident on the phone, bilingual in English and Spanish, proactive, organized, and comfortable interacting directly with prospective clients.
Responsibilities

Contact inbound leads provided by partner law firms across the U.S. and Canada.

Communicate professionally with prospective clients in either Spanish or English based on their preferred language.

Ask appropriate intake questions to understand each lead's needs and determine whether they meet the established qualification criteria.

Schedule qualified prospects for consultations directly on the corresponding lawyer's calendar.

Provide a professional, friendly, and responsive experience during every interaction.

Follow established intake procedures and accurately capture relevant lead information.

Maintain timely communication with leads and take initiative when follow-up is needed.

Help ensure potential clients move efficiently from initial inquiry to scheduled consultation.
Qualifications

Approximately 1 year of relevant customer service, phone support, appointment-setting, intake, or similar experience preferred.

Candidates with less experience may be considered if they demonstrate excellent communication skills and the right attitude.

Previous legal industry experience is not required.

No advanced technical expertise is required.

Ability to quickly learn intake procedures, qualification criteria, and scheduling workflows.

Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where timely lead response is important.

Strong reliability, organization, and attention to detail.
Requirements

High level of spoken and written English.

Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.

Confidence speaking with prospective clients over the phone.

Previous experience in customer service, call center operations, intake, appointment setting, sales support, or another phone-based role.

Ability to ask questions, gather information, and follow established qualification guidelines.

Comfortable scheduling appointments and working with digital calendars.

Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.

Strong interpersonal skills and professional phone etiquette.
