Role Description
We are looking for a Counsel, Privacy and Compliance to join our Legal department at BOLD. This person will be primarily supporting the Team on the management of all local Poland office legal affairs, review and creation of internal policies to align with optimal security and privacy measures, and general assistance to the Privacy and Compliance team members which may vary depending on the business needs.
Qualifications

Strong academic background and a master's degree in law.

Admission to the practice of law in Poland is required (radca prawny).

1 to 3 years of law firm practice or equivalent in-house experience is a must.

Strong legal research skills.

At least C1 in English and fluent in Polish.

High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to multitask.

Critical thinking and innovation-mindset.

Professionalism, positive attitude and dedication to ethical conduct.

Familiarity with the handling of sensitive data and confidential information.

Requirements

Provide daily assistance with internal/risk/compliance controls and regulatory compliance matters.

Regularly test and audit compliance controls for all product lines, report findings and lead the creation of mitigation plans.

Prepare legal memorandums, and draft policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Additional responsibilities as assigned by the team management.

Provide legal assistance on employment and HR-related matters for the Polish office.

Conduct legal research and perform legal work regarding local and international laws and regulations on a variety of topics, including compliance with legal requirements applicable to technology businesses, consumer protection requirements, and obligations with respect to personal information.

Support the team on contract drafting, review and negotiation, including managing relationships with internal teams and review/redline vendor agreements, draft NDAs, confidentiality agreements, non-compete, and other types of consulting and contractor agreements in areas of product, marketing, technology, hosting, SaaS, licensing, payments, customer service, and operations.

Provide legal advice to the Companyβs product and development teams, including marketing, UX, SEO, content, infrastructure and technology teams.
