[Hiring] Legal Counsel / Admin @Spalah

Role Description

As we scale, we are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team and ensure our operations comply with all regulatory frameworks and laws, while also offering legal advice on a range of issues.

• Draft, review, and revise commercial contracts, including vendor, affiliate, and partnership agreements.
• Prepare and update internal policies, ensuring they align with legal standards and best practices.
• Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Advise on compliance with gambling regulations and industry-specific laws (e.g., data protection, gaming laws).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to mitigate legal risks and ensure operations adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in international gambling laws, market trends, and policies, and communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
• Provide legal support on day-to-day business operations, including addressing legal issues and offering practical solutions.
• Handle customer claims and legal concerns with professionalism, ensuring that responses are timely and legally sound.
• Collaborate with external legal teams to address complex legal disputes when necessary.
• Support the protection of the company’s intellectual property, including copyrights, trademarks, and patents.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, including international business exposure.
• At least 1 year of experience working specifically with SaaS models.
• Strong spoken and written English language skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in legal documents and processes.
• Strong researching skills to stay up-to-date with legal requirements and industry trends.
• Experience with intellectual property (IP) is a plus.
