Role Description
We're seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Attorney to join our team on a contract basis. The role focuses on trademark prosecution, copyright protection, and IP portfolio management for innovative technology companies and digital-first businesses. Our clients range from emerging startups to established technology companies seeking sophisticated IP protection strategies.
Key Responsibilities

Manage trademark clearance, filing, and prosecution process

Handle USPTO office actions and TTAB proceedings

Develop comprehensive brand protection strategies

Manage copyright registrations for software and digital content

Implement trade secret protection protocols

Monitor and enforce IP rights across digital platforms

Direct international trademark strategy

Oversee domain name and social media protection

Develop IP portfolio management strategies
Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Active attorney license in good standing

5+ years of intellectual property law experience

USPTO registration preferred

BigLaw training/experience strongly preferred

Experience with trademark prosecution and portfolio management

Demonstrated experience in technology sector IP protection
