Role Description
The Immigration Client Support Specialist role is an exciting opportunity to grow your career with one of the largest law firms in the United States. This position may be remote, but the successful candidate must reside in a state where we have a physical office.

Work closely with attorneys, case managers/paralegals, data & reporting, and other team members to coordinate quality assurance for overall immigration programs.

Review caseload reports for paralegals and attorneys to ensure expected performance metrics are met for productivity and quality of work.

Help with caseload reassignments and setting of case priorities as necessary.

Lead ongoing training initiatives for team members.

Act as team point of contact and knowledge resource to help answer questions and mentor junior team members.

Help with triage and support of resolution of client case-related issues, escalating to the attorney management team as necessary.

Review all reporting for the client(s).

Drive client program improvement initiatives.

Collect and maintain immigration documentation to ensure accurate tracking for the case management system.

Communicate extensively with the corporate client management team, human resources, talent acquisition, managers, and foreign national employees regarding procedural and case processing updates and issues.

Provide timely updates to internal and external stakeholders, including ad hoc reports, project updates, or specific case updates.

Stay abreast of new immigration law regulatory, procedural and policy changes, and help keep the team updated with ongoing training.

Lead and support other projects as necessary.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

8+ years of experience as a paralegal or in-house immigration specialist focused on high-volume business immigration.

Strong knowledge and skills related to nonimmigrant, immigrant, and PERM processes.

Strong training and mentoring skills.

High attention to detail and issue spotting.
-
Ability to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely by others.

Strong project management skills.

Specific client experience is a plus.

MS Suite of products including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. PowerBI and INSZoom a plus.

8+ years of experience as a Business Immigration Paralegal in a high-volume environment.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this Colorado position is between $86,880 and $130,320.

In accordance with New York State’s Wage Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this New York State position is between $79,280 and $144,000.

In accordance with California’s amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $81,920 and $144,000.

In accordance with the Washington Equal Pay and Opportunities act, the expected salary range for this Washington position is between $91,280 and $136,920.

In accordance with the Wage Transparency Omnibus Amendment Act, the expected salary range for this DC position is between $91,280 and $136,920.

In accordance with Maryland’s Equal Pay for Equal Work-Wage Range Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this Baltimore position is between $81,920 and $122,880.

In accordance with Illinois Equal Pay Act Transparency Notice, the expected salary range for this Illinois position is between $91,920 and $136,920.

In accordance with Massachusetts Frances Perkins Workplace Equity Act, the expected salary range for this Massachusetts position is between $96,000 and $144,000.

In accordance with Minnesota Pay Transparency Law, the expected salary range for this Minnesota position is between $81,920 and $122,880.

In accordance with New Jersey Senate Bill 2310, the expected salary range for this New Jersey position is between $96,000 and $144,000.

A good faith estimate of the current scale range for this position in Cleveland, OH is $90,522 and $117,146 annually.
