Role Description

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, is seeking attorneys with experience in handling litigation on behalf of health insurers, including:

• Defending life, health, disability, and payor-provider litigation
• Class actions
• State statutory claims
• ERISA litigation
• Insurance bad faith

Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in litigating health insurance issues. The position involves:

• Engagement in complex litigation in both state and federal court
• Opportunity for professional development
• Managing their own litigation
• Formulating and implementing a discovery plan, including taking and defending depositions
• Evaluating potential insurance liability exposures
• Preparing case assessments and evaluations
• Balancing time between several matters while producing consistently good work product

Candidates must have strong academic credentials, proven skills in writing, research, and litigation experience. The position is available for anyone with a valid license to practice law in any state, with the option of working remotely.

Current national base salary ranges are:

• Associates (approximately 1-6+ years): $100,000–$165,000
• Senior Counsel/Of Counsel (approximately 5 years or more): $140,000–$215,000
• Partners (approximately 7 years or more): $190,000–$275,000+

For this role, the pay range is: $130,000-$165,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, practice area, business generation, work arrangement, and geographic market.
