The Legal Assistant role at Commonwealth Life & Legacy Counsel is vital to our mission of delivering outstanding client experiences. As the first point of contact, you will enhance our intake process, ensuring potential clients receive immediate attention and compassion. By efficiently handling communication and scheduling, you will support the firm's growth and client satisfaction, eventually taking on expanded responsibilities within our team.
What youβll do:

Intake Support:
Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, provide an empathetic experience, warm-transfer calls when appropriate, take accurate messages, and support the intake process.

Phone Coverage:
Answer incoming calls consistently during business hours, providing a positive experience and transferring calls when necessary.

Scheduling:
Support consultation scheduling, appointment changes, and calendar coordination for attorneys and staff, with increasing ownership as you become established.

Client Follow-Up:
Support timely follow-up with prospective and existing clients, helping ensure questions, messages, and next steps are addressed appropriately.

Administrative Support:
Assist with clerical tasks such as mailing, document management, and supporting attorneys with non-billable tasks.

System Utilization:
Operate within firm systems like ESI VoIP, Clio, and Clio Grow to manage client interactions effectively.

Growth Opportunity:
Gradually take on more significant responsibilities such as lead qualification and operational support as you become established.
