[Hiring] Forward Deployed Fund Operator @Allocator One Group

Role Description

Forward deployed means embedded with the customer, owning outcomes instead of tickets. We are hiring operators with legal training and deploying them directly into the daily running of the venture funds on Infra One.

The role:

• You run the operational engine of a small portfolio of venture funds.
• You are in the GP's WhatsApp group.
• You are the named person behind their back-office inbox.
• Handle KYC issues, urgent document signing, and due-diligence requests end to end.
• Work involves fund operations: onboarding, closings, capital calls, deal execution, reporting, and everything in between.
• Legal training is required to navigate legal documents effectively.
• This is not a support queue or a law firm associate track; you own outcomes for named clients.
• Collaborate with an engineering team that ships fixes often the same day.
• One accountable person per client, leveraging an AI-first backend.

Tasks

What you'll actually do:

• Walk a GP's new LP through subscription and KYC, resolving issues swiftly.
• Take a deal handoff from a GP, collect necessary documents, and ensure timely signatures and wire transfers.
• Answer institutional LP's due-diligence questionnaires and create reusable one-pagers.
• Flag inappropriate side letters and provide language for GPs to decline without damaging relationships.
• Keep GPs oriented with live status overviews and proactive reminders.
• Feed insights back into the platform to improve processes.

Qualifications

• An operator with experience in founding, joining early, or running something.
• Legal background (required): law degree or equivalent legal training.
• Genuine comfort with transaction documents: LPAs, subscription agreements, side letters, etc.
• Extreme ownership and responsiveness.
• Precision under speed; ability to balance speed and accuracy.
• AI-fluent; experience working with LLMs.
• Fluent written and spoken English; German is a plus.
• Location: Fully remote from Eastern Europe, South America, or the Philippines.
