Role Description
The Foreclosure Paralegal I, positioned within the Shared Services Department, holds the responsibility of the pre-foreclosure process across the various states in which the firm operates. This role entails a comprehensive review of pre-foreclosure documents, onboarding documents, as well as the utilization of MSP, AIQ, and other internal systems. It is imperative to ensure the legal validity and compliance of foreclosure actions, while also identifying and addressing any potential impediments that may arise during the pre-foreclosure process. The primary function of this position is to guarantee that all impediments are resolved in a timely manner pre-foreclosure.

Qualifications

Bachelorโs Degree Preferred or Paralegal Certificate

5+ years of default law experience

Strong knowledge of AP foreclosure process

Understanding of judicial and non-judicial foreclosure processes

Previous default industry experience

Analytical document review capabilities

Able to respond appropriately to constructive feedback from management

Self-starter with exceptional ability to identify and solve problems

Ability to recognize changing environments and think analytically
