Role Description

Enhesa is growing our Regulatory Intelligence team and is looking to add a high-energy individual who will support our regulatory research and services team. This position is based in the US and will have responsibility for Environmental, Health, & Safety (EHS) Regulatory and Support Services for various jurisdictions globally. The candidate must be able to work as part of a dynamic team and provide the following:

  • Understanding of legislative process in an assigned jurisdiction
  • Research and monitoring of in-country legal issues, laws, and regulations
  • Management and support of original EHS compliance content

Qualifications

  • LL.B., International equivalent
  • 3+ years relevant research experience
  • Working knowledge of Environmental, Health, & Safety topics
  • Experience with international legislation
  • Fluent in English and Spanish required; Portuguese preferred
  • The following language skills considered: French, Dutch, German, Italian, Russian, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Vietnamese, Thai, or Indonesian

Requirements

  • International Legal Research, Analysis, and Content Development
  • Understand the legal and regulatory system and processes in assigned jurisdictions, including the hierarchy of laws and official publications
  • Research legislative, regulatory, and other legal developments
  • Report, update, and maintain legal content
  • Draft and edit regulatory content based on EHS laws and regulations for assigned jurisdictions
  • Monitor official publications of proposed and final legislation within defined EHS topic areas for assigned countries
  • Provide research on regulatory trends across the globe for presentations
  • Develop Summaries and Business Impact Analysis of EHS laws and regulations
  • Review and revise content rendered as print or electronic products for completeness and accuracy
  • Demonstrate competence in online research tools

  • Writing Skills: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Legal Research: 3 years (Preferred)

Salary Range

$45,000 β€” $50,000 USD
