[Hiring] EEO Attorney/FAD Writer @Intelligence Federal

Role Description

Intelligence Federal is seeking a part time (20 hours per week) experienced Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Adjudicator Attorney. The attorney will assist in the written adjudication of program civil rights complaints for USDA. Previous experience writing Final Agency Decision letters (FADs) at the federal level is REQUIRED for this position.

This is a part time, 20 hours per week position. Work Location: Fully Remote.

Job Duties, Including But Not Limited To:

• Drafting and preparing final agency decisions (FADs) - This is the main function of this position.
• Reviewing Reports of Investigation (ROIs) for legal sufficiency.
• Assisting in processing EEO complaints, both informal and formal.
• Processing post-closure compliance and appeal work.
• Drafting formal and complex legal documents such as accept/dismissal letters, appeal documents, counselor’s reports, and complaint status memorandums.
• Conducting legal research and editing.
• Reviewing facts and case law.

Qualifications

• JD required. Must be barred in a US State or Territory.
• Must have a minimum of three (3) years writing Final Agency Decision reports at the federal level REQUIRED.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in Federal sector civil rights matters and/or processing federal sector EEO complaints REQUIRED.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as a lawyer REQUIRED.
• Required to have knowledge of:
  • Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
  • Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
  • Age Discrimination in Employment Act.
  • Equal Pay Act.
  • Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act.
  • Equal Credit Opportunity Act of 1974.
• Exceptional writing skills as well as adept at legal research and legal editing.
• Must be able to provide references and a writing sample during interview process.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust Clearance.
• Must be a US Citizen.
