Role Description

• Review pipeline easements, right-of-way agreements, amendments, and assignments from a project due diligence line list.
• Capture and summarize key easement language, including term, renewal and option provisions, width, assignability, consent requirements, and future obligations.
• Interpret legal descriptions, plats, exhibits, and metes and bounds calls.
• Deed plot easement centerlines and sites, and clip/digitize easements in GIS.
• Record findings accurately in the project due diligence line list and flag missing documents or potential issues.
• Communicate findings clearly and professionally in written and verbal formats.

Qualifications

• Prior experience on pipeline due diligence projects.
• Prior experience reviewing pipeline easements and right-of-way agreements.
• Skilled in interpreting easement language and legal descriptions.
• Ability to follow project-specific instructions and scope of work.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage time across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Experience with GIS and deed plotting software.
• Strong computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Comfortable communicating daily through Microsoft Teams.
• Three or more (3+) years of pipeline right-of-way, land, or title experience.
