[Hiring] DPO / Compliance Officer @Innovatrics

• In your first months: Explore our current compliance framework, get to know our Records of Processing Activities, and dive into our unique biometric ethics committee processes.
• As you settle into the role: Take full ownership of the data protection program, managing GDPR workflows, vendor DPAs, and providing critical compliance reporting directly to the CEO/COO.
• Within your first year: Shape our EU AI Act readiness strategy, influence product-level "Privacy by Design," and ensure our global sales operations remain audit-ready in 80+ countries.

Your work here won't get lost in a backlog; it'll shape real-world systems that matter. You will own and run the company's data protection and compliance program across Internal operations, Sales, and Product so the company stays lawful, ethical, and secure.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in data protection, compliance, or legal roles, ideally within tech/SaaS or regulated environments.
• GDPR Expertise: Hands-on ownership of GDPR programs, including ROPA, DPIAs, DSAR processes, and accountability documentation.
• Technical Literacy: Ability to collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to translate legal requirements into practical SDLC gates.
• Risk Management: Strong skills in risk assessment and implementing mitigation measures (contractual, operational, and technical).
• Communication: Excellent drafting skills for policies and procedures; confident presenting to the Board/Leadership.
• Education: Degree in Law, Compliance, Information Security, or Business. Certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM, or CAMS are a strong advantage.

Requirements

• Data Protection: ROPA, LIA/DPIA, Vendor DPAs.
• Sales Compliance: Customer KYC/CDD, Sanctions & Export controls (Dual-use).
• Product Governance: Privacy by Design, EU AI Act readiness, Biometric Ethics.
• Internal Oversight: Whistleblowing, Code of Ethics, Anti-corruption.

Interview Process
