Role Description

Remote Recruitment is hiring a Conveyancing Assistant for a UK employer, fully remote from South Africa.

You will support UK conveyancers through the file:

• Ordering searches
• Preparing packs
• Chasing third parties
• Keeping clients updated so transactions do not stall in silence

This role suits someone organised who enjoys steady progress. You will work 09:00-17:00 UK time (11:00-19:00 SAST) from home, with equipment guidance, a proper induction, and a manager who is contactable through the day. This is a permanent role, not a short contract.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting conveyancing, property law or legal case administration
• Familiarity with a legal case management system
• Strong accuracy with dates, forms and file documentation
• Clear, reassuring written and phone communication with clients
• Reliable home internet and a quiet space for UK-hours work

Requirements

• Exposure to Land Registry applications (nice to have)
• Experience with leasehold transactions (nice to have)
• Familiarity with anti-money-laundering checks (nice to have)
