Role Description
We are seeking a skilled Legal Counsel to support the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial and technology agreements, including cloud services (SaaS), software licenses, and professional services contracts. This role works closely with sales, finance, operations, HR, and other internal stakeholders to deliver practical legal solutions that enable business growth while managing risk. The ideal candidate brings strong transactional expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, international environment.
Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and technology agreements, including SaaS, software licenses, statements of work, NDAs, and partner agreements.

Support sales teams throughout the contracting process by providing concise, business‑oriented legal advice.

Collaborate on matters involving privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance, escalating issues where appropriate.

Assist with contract lifecycle management, including templates, playbooks, fallback language, and process improvements.

Facilitate alignment with internal teams such as Finance, Security, Product, HR, Marketing, and Compliance.

Support dispute resolution efforts, including coordinating with external counsel on pre‑litigation matters when needed.

Contribute to training materials and internal enablement sessions related to contracting, legal processes, and compliance topics.

Help maintain a consistent approach to risk management across jurisdictions.
Qualifications

3+ years of legal experience in software, SaaS, cloud services, or commercial/technology transactions (in‑house or law firm).

Good understanding of privacy and data protection frameworks (e.g., GDPR, US privacy laws, US frameworks).

Ability to manage and negotiate commercial agreements with attention to detail and a solutions‑oriented mindset.

Strong drafting and communication skills.

Ability to build effective cross‑functional relationships and influence stakeholders.

Comfortable balancing legal risk with commercial objectives in a high‑growth, global tech environment.
