[Hiring] Casualty Transportation Adjuster @Davies

Role Description

We are looking to add Liability Commercial adjusters with Bodily Injury and Litigation experience to our rapidly growing Transportation division. The ideal adjuster has the ability to work efficiently and effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and outside vendors to confirm coverage, determine liability, and evaluate damages through timely and diligent claim investigations.

• Minimum of 5 years commercial transportation experience
• Superior report writing skills
• Strong Time Management skills
• Effective Communicator
• Holds a valid Texas all lines license (Florida, New Mexico, and other licenses a plus)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have above average computer skills
• Team player
• Litigation Experience is required
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service
• Analyze and apply coverage on both routine and complex claims
• Adjudicate claims in an expeditious and professional manner
• Set and maintain diaries
• Complete client reporting timely
• Control loss adjustment expenses, recommend and manage reserves
• Document all correspondence, reports, discussions, and decisions in the claims system
• Notify management of any situations which may affect the underlying claim
• Any other tasks or responsibilities assigned
