[Hiring] Associate General Counsel, Litigation and Government Investigations @Danaher Corporation

Role Description

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead and manage significant litigation, arbitration, government investigations, regulatory inquiries, and enforcement matters in the United States and internationally.
• Provide practical, risk-based legal advice to senior legal and business leaders regarding complex disputes, investigations, enforcement exposure, and related reputational risk.
• Independently prepare litigation and enforcement risk assessments.
• Develop, recommend, and execute legal strategies that protect Danaher’s interests, mitigate risk, and support the company’s strategic objectives.
• Manage responses to subpoenas, civil investigative demands, requests for information, and other compulsory or voluntary government submissions.
• Represent Danaher in interactions with government enforcement and regulatory authorities, or direct outside counsel in those interactions.
• Direct and oversee outside counsel, experts, and service providers, ensuring quality, efficiency, and accountability.
• Champion the responsible use of technology, analytics, and artificial intelligence to improve litigation strategy, workflow efficiency, forecasting accuracy, and matter outcomes.
• Stay abreast of relevant legal trends and developments and communicate to promote learning and continuous improvement for the Danaher legal organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of relevant legal experience, including substantial experience handling complex litigation, government investigations, internal investigations, and regulatory matters.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one state bar.
• Experience in a leading law firm, government enforcement agency, prosecutor’s office, or comparable role.

• 25-30% travel.
