Role Description

An exciting opportunity to join a niche team and to utilize your legal training, experience and expertise to benefit Willis' clients and prospects in relation to matters associated with civil and regulatory liability. This role provides support to Willis' clients and prospects, as well as strategic guidance as requested, or training through Willis' range of 'off the shelf' solutions or more bespoke offerings.

Location: Flexible, UK-based (remote). The role requires openness to business-related travel within UK.

• Deliver Claims Defensibility & Regulatory services to GB Retail clients and prospects to support Regional and Industry Practice Leaders, Account Teams, New Business Leads, Project Managers, etc. in the delivery of GB Retail's strategic and financial goals.
• Provide direct support in new business propositions, support on accounts and delivery of Claims Defensibility & Health and Safety Regulatory projects in line with client expectations.
• When required, support Loss Management, Claims and Account Teams to provide civil claims management advice, guidance and support for GB Retail clients, with a view to adding value to the existing claims management programme.
• Identify, via analysis of available claims management data and client and Loss Management liaison, opportunities to promote relevant and appropriate Risk Management services to GB Retail clients and prospects, with particular focus on those services offered by the Claims Defensibility and Regulatory, Health and Safety and Stress and Mental Health Risk practices.
• Engage with clients to help them assess current arrangements around the defensibility of claims and health and safety regulatory actions.
• Support clients with the creation, amendment and/or revision of documentation, policies and procedures as part of overall avoidance and defence strategies.
• Regular overnight travel will be required to support client-site engagements. Candidates should be comfortable travelling when needed to meet project or client requirements.

Qualifications

• Legal training and experience in civil and regulatory liability.
• Experience in claims management and risk management services.
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis and client engagement.
