Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for an experienced Business Immigration Associate Attorney (Labs) to join our expanding team in a fully remote capacity. EIG offers a competitive salary, excellent employee benefits, and ample opportunity for professional growth.

Maintain ownership and ultimate responsibility for a full docket of employment-based nonimmigrant visa (NIV) cases at a time.

Manage and prepare O-1 visas, L-1 visas, and other writing intensive employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visas (NIW, EB-1s).

Ensure that Paralegals draft, organize, and file immigration documentation in a thorough and timely manner.

Utilize high-level business immigration law knowledge and precise attention to detail to ensure the team produces error-free legal work.

Research and analyze the law on complex immigration issues.

Synthesize legal research and analyses into written memoranda or briefs and perform case work.

Identify potential immigration issues and develop strategies to address them.

Conduct and participate in client meetings and calls.

Handle client relations issues as needed.
Qualifications
-
3+ years of business immigration attorney work experience, ideally handling a large volume of L-1 visas.

U.S. Juris Doctor degree (J.D.).

Member of a state bar and in good standing with the associated state bar association.

Ability to manage complex case strategies with company contacts and clients.

Proven record of meeting SLAs for case preparation and client communication.

Possess exceptional attention to detail to ensure accurate visa filings.

Understanding of nuanced and complex immigration law concepts.

Solid understanding of case management systems.

Fluency of the English language in both written and verbal forms.

Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
