Role Description

GRSM’s Virtual Legal Support Assistant Manager will join a growing national administrative leadership team dedicated to providing essential support to the firm’s attorneys and staff in all 50 U.S. States. This full-time exempt position is fully remote working the hours of 11am-8pm EST / 10am-7pm CST / 9am-6pm MST / 8am-5pm PST. Mid-size to large law firm experience is preferred.

• Provide daily leadership and promote the development of Virtual Legal Support (“VLS”).
• Be available for your team during their shifts, which may include occasional weekend availability.
• Manage workflow by tracking tasks, identifying bottlenecks, and working with upper management to implement process improvements within the Direct Support service line.
• Evaluate and make recommendations to allocate resources effectively across the Direct Support service line based on workload and deadlines.
• Ensure attention to detail and accuracy while navigating a high volume of communication.
• Be a goal-oriented team player, personable, professional, and adaptable to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Monitor and optimize workflow.
• Support new hire integration to service line.
• Facilitate interdepartmental communication.
• Support change management initiatives.
• Assist with escalation and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-5 years of relevant leadership experience in a large multi-location defense litigation firm.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• Law firm experience is required.
• Advanced skillset using Microsoft Suite Programs (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Requirements

• The yearly salary range is between $70,000-$90,000.
• The actual salary offered may be above or below the identified range and will be based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, and the location where the position is filled.
