Role Description

Cayenta, a division of Harris, is seeking a Technical Consultant who will join our Cayenta Managed Services (CMS) team within Managed Services & Technical Operations. As a Technical Consultant, you will help manage and maintain the technical environments that support our customers' Cayenta ERP and Customer Information Systems.

• Work across system administration, database administration, troubleshooting, maintenance, monitoring, and customer support.
• Initially focus on on-premises customer environments, with opportunities to expand into Microsoft Azure infrastructure and cloud operations.
• Collaborate with other Managed Services team members and various teams to maintain reliable, secure, and stable customer environments.
• Demonstrate curiosity, resourcefulness, and ownership in problem-solving.
• Utilize internal knowledge bases, product documentation, previous tickets, and logs for troubleshooting.
• Document solutions and lessons learned to assist future investigations.
• Incorporate AI-enabled tools responsibly into everyday work.
• Serve as a primary or secondary technical consultant for multiple Cayenta Managed Services customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in technical support, system administration, managed services, infrastructure, database administration, or a related technical role.
• Experience with or strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of system administration concepts in Windows and/or Linux environments.
• Some experience with or knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Curiosity and a desire to understand technical issues deeply.
• Strong customer-service mindset and ability to develop trusted customer relationships.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat, including configuration, hardening, and SSL certificates.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Jira, TeamSupport, or comparable ticketing/work-management systems.
