Role Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a Systems Administrator to join our growing Information Technology team supporting more than 250 veterinary hospitals across the United States. This is a highly hands-on technical role focused on supporting end users, systems, devices, and technology services throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

The Systems Administrator will work closely with the IT Operations Manager, managed service provider (MSP) partners, hospital teams, and software vendors to ensure reliable and responsive technology support across the organization. This position will be responsible for:

• Resolving technical issues
• Managing Microsoft 365 services
• Supporting end-user devices
• Assisting with infrastructure administration
• Coordinating with vendors
• Participating in technology projects and deployments

This role is ideal for an individual looking to expand their technical skills while gaining experience supporting a large, multi-site healthcare organization. This position reports to the IT Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of professional IT support, help desk, systems administration, or technical support experience.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience supporting:
  • Entra ID
  • Exchange Online
  • Microsoft Teams
  • SharePoint Online
  • Microsoft Intune
• Experience supporting Windows workstations and laptops.
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals including:
  • TCP/IP
  • DNS
  • DHCP
  • Wireless networking
  • VPN connectivity
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple support requests.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Willingness to travel when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field (preferred).
• Veterinary, healthcare, medical, dental, or multi-site retail support experience (preferred).
• Experience supporting:
  • macOS
  • Mobile device management platforms
  • Intune
  • Microsoft Defender
  • ConnectWise
  • ServiceNow
  • NinjaOne
• Experience supporting imaging equipment or specialized medical devices.
• Experience working within an MSP or co-managed IT environment.
• CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications.
