Role Description

The Systems Administrator - Senior ensures the stable operation of in-house computer software systems and network connections. Responsibilities include:

• Planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network software and communication links.
• Organizing and directing the configuration and operation of information management systems.
• Analyzing and resolving end user software program and connectivity issues.
• Conducting capacity and performance analysis and providing system configuration change and upgrade recommendations.
• Increasing system administrator efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scripts.
• Developing system administrator procedures and conducting system administrator training and skills assessment.
• Providing end user training and recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
• Providing local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location.
• Directing the work of other system administrators for day-to-day system administration, including system and resource optimization, and user assistance.
• Applying advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications and ensuring fault tolerance.
• Performing vulnerability management.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years specialized experience in Information Processing, with at least four years of hands-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.

Requirements

• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• BS or BA in technical discipline.
• Secret clearance.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level I.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate or Certified MuleSoft Associate Certification within 3 months after onboarding start date.
