Role Description

Join Our Team as a Senior Oracle EBS Database Administrator. Are you an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Database Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity to lead and support technical upgrade activities? We are seeking a talented individual to join our remote team, based in California, and play a key role in our Oracle EBS migration program.

• Lead end-to-end technical execution of Oracle EBS upgrades, including readiness assessments, execution, and validation.
• Implement and configure Online Patching (ADOP) architecture.
• Perform database-level tasks such as installation, patching, cloning, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Support upgrade and configuration of dependent components like BI Publisher and Oracle APEX.
• Coordinate and execute CEMLI retrofit activities in collaboration with functional and development teams.
• Establish and validate performance baselines pre- and post-upgrade.
• Implement security hardening measures including data encryption and database failover configuration.
• Collaborate with functional teams to troubleshoot upgrade-related technical issues.
• Participate in test cycles, providing technical support and defect resolution.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on Oracle Database Administration experience.
• At least one full-cycle EBS technical upgrade from R12.1.x to R12.2.x.
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle EBS 12.2 architecture, including ADOP and Weblogic Server.
• Proficiency in Oracle Database administration (11g/12c/19c).
• Practical understanding of Oracle EBS SCM modules.
• Experience with BI Publisher upgrade/configuration and Oracle APEX installation.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Requirements

• Prior experience with SSO/IAM integration for Oracle EBS.
• Experience supporting global, multi-ledger, multi-site EBS environments.
• Familiarity with Oracle Unified Method (OUM) or similar methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
