[Hiring] Network Infrastructure Engineer @Skaylink

Role Description

Ready to design, optimize, and deliver enterprise network infrastructure? Join Skaylink, part of Vodafone, and combine hands-on networking expertise with end-to-end project ownership, customer consulting, and complex troubleshooting. This role is remote within Romania. If you are based in Cluj-Napoca, you also have the option to work from our office in a hybrid setup.

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN environments.
• Deliver network and infrastructure projects end-to-end, from solution design through implementation, testing, and handover.
• Configure, migrate, and troubleshoot network devices, including Cisco infrastructure components.
• Analyze complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Act as a technical consultant and point of contact for customers, providing technical guidance and recommendations.
• Support network lifecycle activities, upgrades, and continuous infrastructure improvements.

Qualifications

• 5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies and complex network troubleshooting.
• Proven experience delivering infrastructure or network projects end-to-end.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, and consulting skills, with the ability to work independently and across teams.
• Fluency in English and German.

Requirements

• Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCNP) - Nice to have.
• WLAN experience - Nice to have.
• Network automation experience - Nice to have.
