[Hiring] Manager, IT Systems Engineering @Care Access

Role Description

The Manager, IT Systems Engineering provides leadership for secure, reliable, and scalable technology operations supporting clinical research sites and remote work environments. This role is responsible for:

• Enterprise networking
• Cloud and endpoint services
• Service delivery
• Technology projects
• Operational automation
• Development of a high-performing technical team that enables business growth and operational excellence

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting geographically distributed environments and managing enterprise networks, Microsoft cloud services, endpoint platforms, and complex technology initiatives.
• Strong communication, vendor management, budgeting, prioritization, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled automation and workflows with appropriate security, data-governance, reliability, and business-value considerations.
• Preferred: Experience with Cisco Meraki, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Windows Server, Active Directory, ITSM platforms, scripting, workflow automation, and AI-enabled operations tools.
• Relevant ITIL, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco/Meraki, or CompTIA Security+ certifications are preferred.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• Minimum Experience: Seven or more years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure, networking, operations, or service delivery, including at least three years of experience leading technical teams.
• Five or more years of experience in an IT management or technical leadership role.
