Role Description

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist (multiple positions available) at our Newtown Square, PA location to deliver outcomes of assigned projects. Work independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility.

• Enhance current and future complex systems and processes.
• Communicate clearly and convey processes and policies in an understandable way.
• Advocate for the end user by understanding their needs, behaviors, and usage patterns.
• Promote the role of User Experience with a thorough understanding of user-centered design methodologies.
• Develop and provide systems, applications, products, and services to optimize/automate business processes.
• Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation.
• Facilitate the service lifecycle and product lifecycle.
• Execute technical feasibility studies and solution reviews.
• Define and review technical blueprints for internal IT projects.
• Customize and develop enhancements and implement solutions.
• Provide technical documentation.
• Execute and support problem management and continuous improvement.
• Participate in de-escalation activities.
• Contribute to the Build to Run engagement and define technical standards and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Requirements

• Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:
• Evaluating SAP architecture to identify gaps and improvement areas and implement targeted enhancements.
• Administering and maintaining SAP systems including S/4HANA, ERP, NetWeaver, and databases including HANA, Oracle, ASE, and SQL Server.
• Guiding customers on all technical aspects, including business continuity, security and compliance, and networking.
• Full Cycle Support for Implementations including sizing, installations, configuration, Go-live, maintenance, and operational.
• Managing system copy processes across both homogeneous and heterogeneous SAP environments.
• Managing all operational aspects of solutions across cloud environments.
• Delivering on complex technical and business matters, including high quality results and technical solutions for long-term concepts.
• Supporting maintenance activities including OS patching, Kernel patching, Database patching, Support packs, JAVA Patches, performance tuning, database capacity, and space management.
• Pre and Post Go Live activities, Cutover planning, UAT, and Hyper care support.
• Fine tuning SQL statements, workload analysis, Operating system performance, monitoring, and tuning parameters.
• Configuring and maintaining SAP system integrations with third-party products, providing technical documentation, and supporting de-escalation efforts.
• Consulting with and assisting computer operators or system analysts to define and resolve problems in running computer systems.

Benefits

• Annual base salary range: $127,525 - $195,976.
• Targeted combined range: $131,000 - $222,700.
