Role Description

Serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing business processes, and recommending technology solutions that support organizational goals. In addition to business analysis responsibilities, this role performs quality assurance activities, including:

• Developing and executing test plans
• Validating system functionality
• Ensuring solutions meet business and technical requirements

Also provides technical support by assisting users with troubleshooting, resolving system issues, training users, and facilitating the successful adoption and ongoing use of technology solutions.

Job Specific Duties include:

• Planning, analyzing, coordinating, and serving as liaison for activities, projects, and programs related to new business opportunities.
• Researching developments in new technologies, analyzing and determining business requirements, and developing migration and implementation plans.
• Developing technical solutions to customer problems and translating outcomes into functional and business solutions.
• Escalating issues that are not clearly defined or require deeper system changes, while assisting in resolution by gathering logs, reproducing issues, and providing detailed documentation and analysis.
• Creating an end-to-end test plan of projects; executing the plan and managing all activities to ensure objectives are met and solutions work as expected.
• Performing statistical and analytical research of large data sets for decision-making and planning purposes.
• Defining detailed functional and technical specifications required to satisfy business requirements for complex and high dollar programs and projects.
• Working with the development team to provide continuous iterative feedback on all cycles of the project.
• Assisting the team in determining which business requirements can and should be automated and how they integrate with other business and technical processes.
• Troubleshooting and resolving well-defined application incidents and service requests using documented procedures.
• Providing 1st level support to end-users to troubleshoot and resolve well-defined application incidents and service requests.
• Performing post-implementation review of projects to ensure project effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology (OR) at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in an analyst role in a healthcare facility or a similar setting.
• 2-4 years of experience documenting requirements, building specs, and managing IT projects.
• 2-4 years of experience interacting with stakeholders, providing user support, and understanding complex systems.
• 2-4 years of experience testing web and mobile applications and performing standard QA functions.

Requirements

• Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Business Analyst (PMI-PBA) Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Preferred experience in Scrum, Agile, SQL, JavaScript, SSMS, Postman, Azure DevOps, Scripting.
• Skills and experience in automated testing preferred. Playwright, Selenium, or similar technology.
• Strong analytical and research skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate in a clear, professional, and succinct manner.
• Effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles, and develops plans to resolve obstacles.
• Ability to trend and track productivity results and use the data to predict future scenarios.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical requirements.
• Experience creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans, and implementing solutions.
• Expert at finding issues, bugs, and missed requirements in custom developed software solutions.
• Experience providing technical support, troubleshooting and resolving system issues, and facilitating the successful adoption of a project.
• Strong verbal and written communication, time management, and critical thinking skills.
