[Hiring] Internal Support Engineer @Atlas Technica

Role Description

We are seeking an Internal Support Engineer to join our Internal Support team and help support the technology experience of Atlas Technica Team Members. Unlike our client-facing Support engineering roles, this position is focused on the systems, applications, devices, and technology services used internally across Atlas.

The Internal Support Engineer will provide day-to-day technical support to employees while helping administer, improve, document, and automate the platforms that enable our teams to work effectively. This individual will work with a variety of Microsoft technologies, cloud services, business applications, vendors, and internal systems while supporting employee access, troubleshooting, and technology operations.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical troubleshooting skills with organization, communication, curiosity, and a continuous-improvement mindset. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys resolving user issues while also identifying opportunities to improve processes, automation, security, documentation, and scalability.

Qualifications

• Relevant professional experience in IT support, systems administration, internal IT, systems engineering, or a related technical environment
• Strong hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments
• Experience supporting or administering technologies such as Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience supporting employee account administration, identity and access, device management, software applications, and common workplace technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and drive problems through resolution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical Team Members
• Strong organization, prioritization, documentation, and follow-through with the ability to manage multiple requests and initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and take ownership within a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience
• Ability to work remotely from Lima, Peru

Requirements

• Provide remote technical support to Atlas Technica Team Members across internal systems, applications, devices, and workplace technologies
• Support employee onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, account administration, and other internal technology lifecycle activities
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, and Microsoft Entra ID
• Troubleshoot employee issues involving Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office applications, authentication, connectivity, collaboration tools, and other internal business applications
• Manage and support systems, applications, and tools used by Atlas Team Members to perform their day-to-day responsibilities
• Research, evaluate, implement, and support new systems and technologies that improve internal efficiency, security, reliability, and scalability
• Identify repetitive or manual processes and develop automation or workflow improvements where appropriate
• Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, knowledge-base content, and internal best practices
• Partner with the Internal Support Manager to identify priorities, improve support processes, and contribute to the team's technical direction
• Proactively identify technology, operational, security, or process risks and recommend practical improvements
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams across Atlas
• Participate in broader organizational initiatives designed to improve internal systems, processes, employee experience, and technology capabilities
