Role Description

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. A growing IT services company supporting small businesses is seeking a part-time IT Support Engineer Virtual Assistant to provide remote technical support, Microsoft 365 administration, network troubleshooting, and recurring IT maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on IT support experience, familiarity with MSP environments, and experience using Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) tools. The position requires someone who can independently troubleshoot routine technical issues while following established procedures and escalation protocols.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on IT technical support experience required
• Experience using RMM software strongly preferred
• Microsoft 365 administration and troubleshooting experience required
• Network and firewall administration experience strongly preferred
• Previous MSP or outsourced IT support experience strongly preferred
• Experience providing remote technical support to business clients required
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required
• Excellent written English and professional verbal communication required
• IT ticketing and technical documentation experience preferred
• Healthcare IT experience is a plus

Requirements

• Contracted Hours per Week: 20 hours/week (Potential to increase based on performance)
• Daily Working Time: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM ET
• Scheduled Working Days: Monday-Friday
• Reporting To/POC: To Be Determined
• Number of VAs: 1
