Role Description

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Engineer - GUS in Lake Forest, IL with the following requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field plus 2 years of related experience.
• Will accept any level of experience in the following skills:
  • Analyze business requirements and configure enterprise software systems to support end-to-end business processes.
  • Design and implement integrations between enterprise systems using APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP) to enable secure data exchange.
  • Prepare functional specifications, process flow documentation, and technical configuration documents supporting enterprise software implementations.
  • Configure SAP enterprise systems supporting supply chain planning, inventory planning, and materials management.
  • Develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications including writing program code, preparing technical documentation, and troubleshooting production system incidents.
• Up to 20% domestic and international travel required for project Go Live, support and learning. Must live near a major airport.
• Up to 100% remote work allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• 2 years of related experience.

Requirements

• Experience analyzing business requirements and configuring enterprise software systems.
• Experience designing and implementing integrations between enterprise systems using APIs.
• Ability to prepare functional specifications and process flow documentation.
• Experience configuring SAP enterprise systems.
• Experience developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise applications.

Benefits

• Compensation: The anticipated base pay range for this position is $109,000 - $158,400.
• Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills.
