Role Description

This position’s primary role will be representing the SE&IT by supporting MDA/DE-SEA (Enterprise Analysis & Technical Innovation) and its role within the MDA Joint Analysis Team (JAT). In the test analyst role, the candidate will perform Missile Defense System (MDS) performance analysis of test data generated primarily by the MDA Ground Test (HWIL) program. The candidate may also support analysis of MDA Flight Test events, Real World Event data, and Golden Dome for America (GDA) tests.

• Develop approaches and tools to support executing System-level and Element-level performance analysis on the complex MDS.
• Produce analysis results and inputs to the official SEA test report products.
• Present findings during mission data reviews.
• Work with associated Systems Engineering (SE) teams, Test Organizations, Warfighters, and Element Program focals to ensure MDS tests meet technical intent.
• Assess system capabilities and characterize behaviors.
• Develop, utilize, and present analytical products to assess strategic and/or theater/regional element system level performance of the MDS in ground test and flight test events.
• Perform analysis on all elements of the MDS, focusing on System-Level behaviors.

Qualifications

• Degree and experience performing systems engineering test analysis for the Missile Defense System.
• Experience documenting and presenting analysis findings.
• Secret clearance is minimum requirement, with higher clearance preferable.

Requirements

• Strong systems engineering or MDS analysis background.
• Demonstrated collaboration and presentation skills.
• System level interface design and specification development experience.
• Knowledge of the Missile Defense System (MDS).
• Working knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL, Python, Jupyter Notebooks, Tableau or similar analytical tools.
• Experience in system analysis and system level testing.

Education

• Degree and experience in an engineering classification, mathematics or physics: Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD.
• Candidates with strong systems engineering or MDS analysis background and demonstrated collaboration and presentation skills are desired.
