Role Description

Can You Build an Elite Talent Engine and Stop Hiring Failures at the Source?

• Work with the CEO to define roles for the next version of the company.
• Bring high-quality people into the pipeline and ensure the best candidates are hired.
• Hunt for talent globally, building remote teams or finding top executives as needed.
• Meticulously check references and test candidate claims beyond just resumes.
• Manage and coach a team of recruiters, improving their performance.
• Handle corrections and fix issues without defensiveness.
• Fill director and VP-level positions, knowing when to engage executive search firms.
• Build a reliable hiring machine that allows the CEO to step back from recruitment.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of managing, training, and scaling recruitment teams.
• Experience in identifying, engaging, and securing Chief, Director, and VP-level personnel.
• Ability to construct or rehabilitate an internal talent acquisition function.
• Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, founder-led environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing recruiters and setting screening standards.
• Hands-on experience filling director-level or higher corporate seats.
• Proven background in constructing or rebuilding talent acquisition functions.
• Demonstrated ability to detect candidate fraud.
• Exceptional written communication skills.
• Remote schedule flexibility for operational overlap with US Eastern mornings and India business hours.
