  • In support of the UNICEF Strategic Plan and the UNICEF Education Strategy, the Global Education Practice provides strategic leadership, technical expertise, and operational support to country offices.
  • This consultancy will support the reinvigoration and operationalisation of the Global Education Practice Talent Management Strategy.
  • Under the overall supervision of the Senior Adviser (Education) for Global Management and Partnerships, and in close collaboration with HR Business Partners, the wider Global Education Practice, and relevant Global Programme Division counterparts, the consultant will support the areas as described in the detailed TOR.

Qualifications

  • An advanced university degree (Master’s level or equivalent) in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Public Administration, Management, Education, Social Sciences, International Development, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible professional experience in talent management, workforce planning, organizational development, or human capital strategy, preferably within international organizations, the UN system, or comparable complex institutions.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Experience in the education sector or education development field is considered an asset.

  • Proven ability to work independently in a consultative, matrixed environment, managing multiple stakeholders and delivering high-quality outputs within agreed timelines.
