[Hiring] Senior Program Manager, Talent Development @Twilio

2d ago - Twilio is hiring a remote Senior Program Manager, Talent Development. πŸ’Έ Salary: $128,560 - $160,700 per year πŸ“Location: USA

Role Description

This position is needed to build and lead the live learning experiences that shape how Twilions grow, lead, and work together. You will design and facilitate Twilio's development programs, design and lead leadership team offsites, and serve as an internal coach to leaders and emerging talent around the globe. Reporting to the Senior Director of Talent Development, you will spend most of your time in the room, virtual or in person, with Twilions: designing programs, facilitating sessions, guiding leadership teams through high-stakes offsites, and coaching leaders through pivotal growth moments. The ideal candidate is an expert facilitator and credentialed coach who designs with rigor, reads a room in real time, and turns every session into measurable behavior change.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build facilitated development programs end to end, from needs assessment and learning objectives through facilitator guides, participant materials, and experiential activities, for leaders, managers, and individual contributors globally.
  • Facilitate Twilio's development programs in person, virtually, and in hybrid formats, delivering engaging, inclusive sessions that build skills and shift behavior across a global, remote-first workforce.
  • Design and facilitate leadership team offsites and team effectiveness sessions, partnering with senior leaders to define outcomes, build agendas, guide strategic conversations, and drive clear commitments and follow-through.
  • Serve as an internal coach to leaders and high-potential talent, delivering one-on-one and team coaching engagements and embedding coaching into development programs to reinforce learning.
  • Build internal facilitation capability by developing and certifying a bench of facilitators, and set the design and delivery standards for Talent Development programs.
  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to diagnose capability gaps and determine whether training, coaching, or a facilitated team intervention is the right solution.
  • Measure the impact of programs, offsites, and coaching through participant feedback, behavior change, and business outcomes, and use the data to continuously iterate.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Adult Learning, Education, or a related field preferred.
  • 7-10 years in talent development, with 7+ years designing and facilitating leadership, manager, and professional development programs.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and facilitating executive and leadership team offsites, including strategic planning, team alignment, and team effectiveness sessions.
  • Expert facilitation skills across in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats, with the ability to engage diverse global audiences and navigate challenging group dynamics in real time.
  • Strong instructional design skills grounded in adult learning principles, including building facilitator guides and programs that scale through train-the-trainer models.
  • Executive presence with the ability to build trust quickly, deliver candid feedback, and maintain strict confidentiality with senior leaders.
  • Experience using learning and coaching data, including feedback, behavior change, and business metrics, to demonstrate impact and drive program decisions.
  • Willingness to travel for in-person programs and offsites (approx. 25%).

Requirements

  • Certification in assessment tools such as Hogan, DiSC, MBTI, or 360-degree feedback instruments.
  • Experience building an internal coaching program or a facilitator certification pathway.
  • Experience applying AI tools to accelerate program design, personalize learning, or extend the reach of coaching.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize a full facilitation and coaching calendar in a fast-paced, ever-changing culture.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay
  • Generous time off
  • Ample parental and wellness leave
  • Healthcare
  • Retirement savings program
  • Eligibility for Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan
