Role Description

The Recruiter 1 performs a variety of professional and administrative recruiting functions in support of identifying, interviewing, evaluating, and selecting qualified 1099 service providers to effectively support the Home Delivery division service needs.

• Uses applicant tracking system, identifies candidates from numerous sources, initiates ads, screens and qualifies candidates, and manages the recruiting life cycle from beginning to end.
• Works with other operational field leaders to identify and fulfill needs.
• Participates in new client projects, as requested.
• Provides full lifecycle recruiting in support of home delivery contractor needs.
• Has an understanding of recruiting and communicating with skilled labor and logistic owner operators.
• Works with field managers to identify job requirements and selection criteria.
• Builds a recruitment plan to ensure quality skilled trade service providers enroll for work in areas of need.
• Maintains recruiting activity and statistical data and prepares reports to management for weekly status and business review data.
• Conducts sourcing efforts for challenging position types by way of active recruiting searches and prequalifying candidate interviews for qualified candidates to present to management for review and interview selection.
• Works to identify future program staffing requirements and develops a pipeline of potential candidates via database searches.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Education:
  • High School (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources or related subject (Preferred)
• Experience:
  • 3+ years General experience in recruiting (Required)
  • Experience recruiting and enrolling owner operators and skilled labor contractors is preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge and understanding of applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • Knowledge of HR and talent acquisition best practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications.
  • Communication skills both written and verbal.
