Role Description

This role will primarily support TaxAct as the organization helps everyday Americans file their taxes. We seek to build a team of experts in tax and technology who are customer advocates and have the mindset to reimagine the services our customers receive.

Seasonal Recruiter

The Seasonal Recruiter will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process to include but not limited to:

• Sourcing talent through various channels/tools
• Conducting initial phone screens
• Coordinating interviews with hiring managers and team members
• Preparing interview materials and debriefs
• Extending offers of employment
• Negotiating salary and benefits
• Communicating with new hires prior to start date
• Orienting new employees on their first day
• Tracking metrics related to the recruiting function

High Volume Onboarding Specialist

This role focuses on helping new professional tax preparer clients successfully set up and use the TaxAct software suite.

• Guiding customers through initial setup and software installation
• Assisting with account creation and EFIN (Electronic Filing Identification Number) documentation uploads
• Supporting data migration from previous software providers
• Providing a positive initial experience to foster long-term customer retention
• Serving as the primary point of contact during the initial post-purchase phase
• Communicating via phone, email, and web-based tools to provide resources and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience in human resources or related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) required
• Knowledge of HRIS systems preferred
