[Hiring] People Operations Specialist @TeamSnap

Role Description

TeamSnap is scaling fast, and our People Experience team needs a specialist who thrives on variety. This role exists to keep the day-to-day HR engine running cleanly across every function: operations, systems, benefits, compliance, and culture.

• Be a first line of support for employee and manager HR questions (policies, benefits, systems, employee lifecycle changes).
• Support HRIS (Paycor) data integrity across the employee lifecycle, processing new hires or offboarding employees.
• Partner closely with Payroll to ensure every employee change is communicated and reflected accurately and on time.
• Own the parental leave practice end-to-end, coordinating timelines and paperwork, and serving as the main point of contact.
• Execute annual benefits, open enrollment, drafting communications, answering employee questions, and supporting the broker relationship.
• Maintain compliance documentation (I-9s, leave paperwork, training trackers) for audit readiness.
• Run onboarding, orientation, and culture programming to ensure new TeamSnappers feel set up for success.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in an HR, People Operations, or HR Generalist-type role.
• Comfort learning and working inside an HRIS platform (Paycor experience is a plus).
• Careful attention to detail.
• Strong service instincts and communication skills.
• Ability to juggle several different types of work in the same week.
• Comfort supporting a remote or distributed team.

Requirements

• Exposure to benefits administration or open enrollment cycles (nice-to-have).
• A natural eye for process improvement.
• Familiarity with I-9 verification, leave administration, or other compliance documentation (nice-to-have).
