[Hiring] Payroll Implementation Specialist @GreenSlate

Role Description

GreenSlate puts clients first, and our service is what sets us apart. We are looking for an outgoing individual with a desire to provide an exceptional level of service to join our growing implementation team. As a Payroll Implementation Specialist, you will help new clients get ready to run payroll by:

• Gathering the documents and details clients provide for each new payroll project, and checking that everything is complete before setup begins.
• Setting up standard payroll projects and making routine changes clients request, using established checklists.
• Adding new projects to the payroll system and submitting work location requests.
• Answering client calls and emails quickly and accurately, and keeping clients updated on where their project stands.
• Sending complex questions and problems to the right team, and following each one through to a resolution the client is happy with.
• Supporting the Implementation team with day-to-day onboarding tasks so each project is ready to run payroll on time.
• Updating the onboarding tracker so the team can see where each client is in the process.
• Sending payroll forms and check printing supplies to productions, and confirming they arrive.
• Replacing outdated payroll forms and keeping the forms library organized.
• Entering and updating client, project, and industry contact information so records stay accurate and easy to find.
• Developing a working knowledge of union deposits and drafting the related correspondence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of customer service experience.
• 1+ year in implementation or project onboarding.
• Experience supporting accounting or business operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of production workflows and accounting basics is a plus.
• Relationship builder with a strong client focus.
• Able to handle high volumes and stay calm under pressure.
• Accountable for completing your own tasks correctly.
• Self-aware, self-monitoring, and self-correcting.
• Persistent problem solver who looks for solutions, not just task completion.
• Enthusiastic about providing superior customer service.
• Eager to learn the ins and outs of payroll and production accounting.

Salary Range

$55K-$65K
