Role Description

As a National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) Enumerator Manager, you will be responsible for providing a crucial role in serving our agricultural producers by providing reliable, accurate, and objective statistics and information that farmers, ranchers, and rural communities depend on. This position is responsible for maintaining a pool of NASDA enumerators capable of meeting the data collection needs of the National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). The NASDA Enumerator Manager will:

• Advertise vacancies
• Hire qualified candidates
• Assign survey work
• Evaluate work submitted
• Recommend enumerators for promotion, discipline, and termination

Qualifications

• A high school diploma and one year of college or work experience are required
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Exceptional critical thinking skills
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and resolve problems
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Superior leadership, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• High level of independence in day-to-day tasks
• Self-motivated as well as a team player
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented work environment
• Willing to learn new duties and technology-related skills as required
• MUST LIVE IN IDAHO

Requirements

• Starting salary range: $23.50 an hour to $32.00
• This is a Part-time, non-exempt position that is remote
• You will have to pass a background check
