Role Description

The primary objective of this position is to serve as a strategic Human Resources business leader for the Distribution Centers, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), and other Operations Support organizations. The HR Manager provides leadership across organizational design and effectiveness, talent selection, leadership and employee development, employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, compensation planning, compliance, and policy implementation. As a member of the leadership team, the HR Manager will collaborate with leaders to translate business needs into people strategies, lead organizational change, strengthen organizational capabilities, and foster leadership excellence.

• Experience developing and delivering Human Resources training and facilitating leadership or employee sessions
• Detail-oriented, particularly in managing and documenting employee relations matters and investigations
• Demonstrated ability to influence, lead, and manage stakeholders outside the position’s direct reporting structure to achieve business results
• Working knowledge of federal and state employment, labor, wage, and hour laws
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of HR information systems and applicant tracking systems

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Relations from an accredited college or university or practical experience sufficient to demonstrate functional equivalence to a bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years progressive experience in human resources with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing direct reports
