[Hiring] Journeyman Human Resources Specialist @Avolinq, LLC

Role Description

We are supporting a federal HR staffing contract with the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA), DOJ. We are seeking Journeyman-level HR Specialists to support staffing and recruitment for GS and AD positions using the USA Staffing platform.

• Support development of recruitment strategies and specialized experience statements
• Assist with applying and administering second-hurdle assessment tools (USA Hire, SSJT, Structured Resume Review, Structured Interview)
• Build and post vacancy announcements via USA Staffing for posting on USAJobs
• Screen applications for basic eligibility and qualifications; rate and rank applicants
• Support rating panel coordination and issue certificates of eligibles
• Respond to candidate and supervisor inquiries
• Draft or assist in developing standard job aids supporting USA Staffing and USA Hire processes
• Ensure all work aligns with DOJ/EOUSA policy and applicable federal hiring regulations

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of federal government staffing experience
• Current Delegated Examining (DE) Certification from OPM, maintained continuously throughout the contract period
• Working knowledge of USA Staffing and familiarity with USA Hire / second-hurdle assessment tools
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier-4 Public Trust background investigation
• Must successfully complete IT Security training

Work Details

• Full-time, remote (DOJ-approved, secure location)
• Core hours: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET, Monday–Friday
• Government-furnished laptop provided
