Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Intern to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be essential in shaping our recruitment funnels, onboarding processes, and performance management systems. Working closely with our Co-Founders & HR Business Partner, you will get hands-on experience managing the foundational elements of a rapidly scaling tech startup. This internship is designed as a direct pipeline to a full-time role ; we are looking for an exceptional performer who is hungry to convert this opportunity into a permanent position on our core team .

What you’ll do

• Be an active contributor to our 0-to-1 growth engine.
• Prove your impact and secure a permanent role.
• Build scalable HR workflows and support the complete employee lifecycle.

Talent Acquisition & Candidate Experience:

• Strategic Collaboration: Partner directly with cross-functional leaders to map out hiring needs, define core competencies, and write compelling job descriptions.
• Proactive Sourcing & Screening: Drive candidate sourcing via LinkedIn, job boards, and tech events. Conduct initial screening calls to assess technical skills and ensure cultural alignment.
• System & Workflow Management: Leverage and refine our AI-driven Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and maintain candidate databases.
• Employer Branding & Candidate Care: Serve as the face of the company for applicants, ensuring a high-touch experience and maintaining our top-tier employer rating.

Core HR Operations & Lifecycle Management:

• End-to-End Lifecycle Support: Orchestrate onboarding experiences, manage HR inquiries, and ensure smooth off-boarding processes.
• Payroll & Compliance Execution: Assist with payroll operations and coordinate with external bookkeeping partners.
• Audit & Asset Management: Maintain operational rigor, track device compliance, and assist with internal audits.
• Performance Tracking: Support quarterly performance review cycles and compile data for progressions and promotions.

Culture & Employee Engagement:

• Engagement Initiatives: Brainstorm and execute monthly employee engagement activities.
• Internal Communications: Draft and standardize HR communications for policies and updates.

Qualifications

• A recent graduate or early-career professional with a degree in MBA (Human Resources), HRDM, Industrial/Organisational/Business Psychology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition, People Operations, or HR administration, ideally within a high-velocity AI, tech or startup environment.
• You have an owner's mindset and are motivated to deliver exceptional work that earns a full-time offer.
• Strong understanding of the technology landscape with the ability to articulate job requirements for engineering and IT roles.
• Exceptional communication skills, adept at fostering positive relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
• Strong, proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Requirements

• Experience working at a startup, ideally during its $0 to $1M ARR journey.
• Hands-on proficiency with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and exclusive founder/tech networks.
• Strong outbound headhunting skills, including mapping talent pools and crafting tailored outreach messaging.
• Practical exposure to various interview formats.
