Role Description

CodePath is expanding into new markets and scaling our team to move at the speed AI is transforming the workforce. This is a net-new leadership role where you will own the talent acquisition function end to end, lead the team, and partner directly with senior leaders.

What You Will Own

• Own the hiring system, including:
  • Rubrics, interview stages, scorecards, and paid work samples.
  • Operating cadence and recruiting metrics.
  • Ensuring every stage produces real signal for trustworthy decisions.
• Scale pipeline and throughput:
  • Drive volume and quality of candidates across all searches.
  • Ensure strong slates of finalists and reflect the communities CodePath serves.
• Own the employer brand and candidate experience:
  • Ensure a mission-driven approach that highlights trajectory, craft, and impact.
• Lead and grow the talent team:
  • Manage a team of recruiters, sourcers, and coordinators.
  • Set operating rhythm and build a staffing model that matches hiring load.
• Partner with the Head of People and leadership:
  • Turn company goals into a hiring plan and set talent priorities.

What Success Looks Like in Your First Year

• In your first 90 days:
  • Learn the hiring funnel and meet every hiring manager.
• By six months:
  • Establish a hiring process with defined purpose and clear bar.
• By the end of your first year:
  • Ensure open roles consistently reach strong finalist slates.
  • Control time to hire with good decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition, including leadership experience.
• Experience building or rebuilding hiring processes.
• Strong data-driven approach to recruitment metrics.
• High standards for quality and ability to defend them under pressure.
• Strong people management skills.
• Ability to partner effectively with executives and hiring managers.
• Experience using AI in recruitment processes.

Requirements

• Experience hiring across technical and non-technical functions.
• Fluency with Greenhouse, Gem, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Experience in a high-growth startup.
• Track record of building talent pools and employer brand.

Compensation

Salary range: $150,000 - $175,000 USD, determined by relevant experience and skills.
