[Hiring] Credentialing Manager @Talkspace

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced Credentialing Manager to join our Credentialing (Clinical Quality Operations) team. This role would be responsible for streamlining operational processes and optimizing credentialing workflows.

• Lead and manage a small group of Credentialing Interns, Associates, and Specialists.
• Oversee job assignments, performance reviews, and professional development.
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals and operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports for Credentialing Committees and collaborate with Credentialing Verification Organizations (CVO).
• Work in a remote position, Monday - Friday 9a-6p local time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s Degree preferred) or 7+ years of professional experience in credentialing or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in a credentialing, compliance, or healthcare operations role.
• Strong background in managing credentialing operations.
• Familiar with NCQA standards and guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in conducting audits and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with credentialing software and systems.
• Proficient with Mac devices, Excel, Word, Google Suite (sheets, docs).

Requirements

• Ensure streamlining of operational processes related to credentialing.
• Partner with the Senior Credentialing Manager to prepare and present comprehensive credentialing packets.
• Liaise with the CVO and Credentialing Supervisor for timely completion of files.
• Support the Senior Credentialing Manager in collaboration with the CVO and Credentialing Specialists.
• Ensure timely initiation of the re-credentialing process for the provider network.
• Identify non-engaging providers for administrative termination.
• Coordinate with the CVO for timely review and completion of re-credentialing processes.
• Support the Senior Credentialing Manager in maintaining relationships with Enterprise clients.
• Conduct regular audits of the CVO’s credentialing processes.
• Oversee the review of credentialed licenses for compliance.
• Align with the Senior Credentialing Manager for continuous review and refinement of workflows.
