[Hiring] Workday HCM Business Systems Specialist @Stride, Inc.

Role Description

Business Systems focuses on acting as a liaison between the business/end users and IT systems development teams for business needs requiring IT based solutions including:

• Identifying and analyzing business needs
• Conducting requirements gathering
• Defining scope and objectives
• Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes
• Researching business requirements and documenting relationships between application system components
• Translating business requirements into application requirements

The Workday HCM Business Systems Analyst performs a wide range of activities that support the optimal use, functioning and data integrity of Workday. Residing within the Human Resources (HR) department and working closely with the IT Department, the position liaises across the HR teams to provide user support and education as well as feedback, analysis and reporting on data, workflow and system functionality for strategic business planning and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5-7 years of related professional experience

Requirements

• Proficient in use of Microsoft Applications such as MS Project, Word, Power Point, Excel & Visio
• Process improvement, ability to prioritize, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication, auditing and analytical skills
• Strong knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and practices
• Deep subject matter expertise of at least 1 module of Workday HCM including upgrades/new features management
• Delivery focused, with high energy and drive
• Creative solutioning and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience providing production support of HR Technology solutions
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to clear required background check
• Two (2) years of Workday configuration specific experience
• Five (5) years HRIS /IT experience, HR application analysis/support experience and working with data, business process design and documentation
